I heard a man ask, “Is my family going to go to heaven, when they do not go to church?  As a child I was told that only Catholics go to heaven. I alone go to church. Will I go to heaven?  I go to church, but am I good enough to go to heaven?”
 
We might all ask. Am I ruled by faith or fear?  Am I locked into the wrong ideas?  Do they stunt my growth?  Do they mask or block who I really am, a soul quickened by spirit, a light bearer?
 
Do I know that I can find the exact right answer to whatever it is that I quest, at the exact right moment, always? 
 
I beseech ye therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God. –St. Paul
 
We have to get the point with our eyes closed. When trying to pin the tail on the donkey, at first we spin and get dizzy and disoriented. We do not know east from west, north from south.
 
The point is that life is created from within out, named from within out, and when we are able to see the pictures that are formed in the darkness of our mind, we are able to dial around to a more pleasing outer view.
 
Look within. That is the first and last thing of earthly existence. Seek the light. Follow the light and not the dogma. Following the light you feel freer and freer and do not fear change, even death. Following dogma you feel more and more fear. Dogma is death to the soul that is meant to taste and dance.
 
Renew your mind by never leaving your garden. Everything that takes place in your earthly existence takes place in a garden, in a safe place. You are the magi in this garden, the alchemist, the scientist.
 
Our world is created first and foremost within our very own thinking apparatus, the field of dreams, plans and schemes that we call our mind. It creates our ideas of heaven and hell, good and evil.
 
Some of us are preoccupied with earning the good life in the beyond while sacrificing the good life that is now on our tables.
 
Perhaps the beyond is here now and we can present our bodies as a living sacrifice by daring to live beyond the doors closed by fear of doing the wrong thing. As someone wise said, “I am a being, not a doing.”
 
Life is eternal and is to be enjoyed, engaged, lived, filled, tested, tasted, and found to be good. 

What if you believed that you could find the exact right answer to whatever it is that you quest, at the exact right moment, always?  Would that transform your life and renew your mind?  Would that give you peace on earth?
 
If you can act as if this were so and stay confidently in this mode, you will find that it is so.
 
Remember again that although other people and things outside us appear to be the cause of your frustration, it is you who are the key to the change you seek. How could your change, your safety, your happiness and your ability to breathe deeply and calmly rest upon their moves?  Wait for others and you shall be waiting. Get in motion yourself and you will see that you are able to create a life that suits you and sustains you.
