“The Kingdom of God cometh not with observation: neither shall they say, Lo, here! Or There! For lo, the Kingdom of God is within you.” – Luke17: 20.
But something happened on my birthday, March 3, 2008, that has me saying, Look at this! This is an event! The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. The Age of Aquarius is upon us! 500,000 people gathered on the World Wide Web for Oprah Winfrey and Eckhart Tolle’s inaugural class based on Tolle’s book, A New Earth: Awakening to your Life’s Purpose. I was there.
This event looks and feels like a phenomenal response to my own quest. With this 10-week class we can literally get on the same page. Not all of us, but enough of us to make a critical difference. I believe that we have made manifest a way that we can work together for true change, not by fixing something on the outside, but by transmuting and changing ourselves.
I highly recommend Eckhart Tolle’s book, A New Earth and the web cast. I expect to be thinking, feeling, speaking and writing differently before all is said and done.
I have wondered how we could get into the kind of space, best described for me by Rumi as a field beyond wrongdoing and rightdoing. This seems to be such a field.
No matter what your sign, you are a circle that includes all of the signs and these current signs, especially the three planets in Aquarius and three planets in Pisces, make us feel and experience that aspect of ourselves that wants to make the world a better place. We want to be the world that sings in perfect harmony, to paraphrase an old commercial. Sweetness, beauty, and deep inspiration that can make the blind see and the lame get up on their feet,is the province of Pisces, a changeable, emotional sign (the sign of our New Moon).
We want to be the world that sings. According to Eckhart, we’ve got to be that world or we will annihilate ourselves. Lucky for us, we want it now. We are stimulated there now; we are occupied in whatever sector of our chart lies between Pluto in Capricorn and Uranus in Pisces. I say be instead of teach, because we want to inform ourselves in order to make the change.
The New Moon in Pisces gets us to feel the possibilities in our bodies. This is an opportune time to learn that you are part of a whole, to feel the truth in your bones and in your blood. We are all related. We are one body. We are family. All and in all, shall we fight ourselves? Who or what has the power to defeat us, when we are one with the source of power?
The change I am talking about is not the Aquarian Age. It is whatever you are looking at in your life that you wish were different.
You may need to be creative in a family situation so that a balance can be achieved and peace can be restored. The situation is in the back of your head, not in your family member. Ask for inner and higher guidance. Take a minute. Breathe before you speak. Don’t have the same old argument to replay your entrenched positions. Be a poet or an artist. Be a healer. Be healed. Sing your loved one a love song. Sing it in your own heart, not necessarily to them. Do not be afraid of them or for them.
You might need to birth a creative project, but self-doubt is messing with your heart and your courage. Suspend your mind. Be at peace. Write your concern on a piece of paper and put it in a god jar or a prayer box to signify that it is out of your hands. When it is truly out of your hands, the Glorious Magnifier steps in.
