This is Eden

7 Virgo 48’
You can’t fool your body. If you eat right by what goes into your mouth, but your mouth utters beliefs of criticism, doubt, anger, and fear, your body will portray your beliefs. As Carolyn Myss says, “Your biology is your biography.” Your body includes your body of work—what you produce and the general circumstances of your life.
No shame. No guilt. Your experience of your body must be free of these, no matter what. No matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done. No matter who touched you or tortured you. No matter what insane things have crossed the thresholds of your mind. Purify yourself of shame and guilt.
Get out of the darkness and into the day. Get into today every day. Stop ducking your opportunities. Quit hiding from “God” because you ate the apple equivalent. God is all. God is the tree, and God is the snake.
And you’ve got to shake your groove thing sometimes. Abandon reserve to express full out joy. God loves a dancing palate and purring taste buds.
Don’t divorce yourself from your body, or the body of evidence that is your life today. You are naked sure, your body says. You cannot fool Mother Nature. The snake did not fool Eve. This is the lie that has been passed down generation to generation. Your body is a liar. Don’t trust it, you are told. Your mind is a liar. Don’t trust it. Don’t trust anything or anyone. You’re alone.
You got kicked out of Eden on the day you were born, taunts the doubting whisper. You do not remember the innocence because it is in the silence of unified thought while you dwell in the body of divided thought, of good and bad, right and wrong, wisdom or folly, wealth or poverty, acceptance or rejection, enough or not enough. You fear that the only way to get back to Eden, the all good, is to die. Yet you fear dying. You fear the decline, wretched illness, wracking pain. You fear that for your sins, Eden’s gates are closed. So you sure as hell don’t want to die.
Message: Do the best you can with what you’ve got. Don’t fear judgment. Stop judging yourself. Give yourself a break. Lighten up. Live victoriously. Put your head up. Step lively. Go with the flow. Glide in stride.
Do the best you can with what you’ve got. You can’t leap tomorrow if you don’t walk today. You can’t do tomorrow’s calculus without today’s arithmetic.
Nurture the gratitude attitude. Don’t whine that you don’t have enough of the stuff. Play the hand at hand. You can win with what looks like a looser.
This is Eden. Don’t squander it. Don’t buy the lie of hard times, less for more. Don’t blame Eve or anyone else, including yourself. Look forward confidently to the victory. Celebrate it now. Pick yourself up and go for it.

Thank you for this sage counsel. You help me to better understand the relationship of health to the sixth house ruled by Virgo. Our life is our true work–therefore dis-ease in the work that is our life “causes” disease in our bodies.
