Planetary Primer: Basic Rules by which to live and regenerate your mind

1. Uranus: Good is first (Transiting Uranus is in Pisces).

The first rule is to remain centered, though all about you might be losing their heads and claiming that the sky is falling. God/Good is first, not “the economy.” No matter what you see without, “the economy” is between your ears. God (by whatever name you call it) is the omniscient power in which you live and move and have your being. Remain aligned with a Higher Power. Seek within—centered, focused. You might say that this is not so, that if God/Good is here, then why do we have the not-good? Why do we have misery, loss, belt-tightening, and worse?

Well, where do you have your mind? What are you looking at? What are you focused on? Are you a center of expression for good, looking with the eyes of good? Or are you a disadvantaged victim of circumstance?

2. Mercury: Pay attention to that which lifts you. (Transiting Mercury is in Cancer conjunct Vesta in Cancer.)

Where do you put your mind? What are you looking at? What are you focused on? Pay attention to that which lifts you emotionally. Pay attention to victory. Your self talk can pull you through. I am one-pointed. I do not fear the future, no matter what happens. I am victorious. I expect my choices to evolve the reality I choose. I do best when I keep aware to catch the part of me that might be sleeping. I observe my habitual mind with focus and with my heart on fire. I am focused on my family and determined to be a beacon for them by following the light, not the darkness of grim prediction and settling for less. Money is relative. Money does not always buy quality. Quality is available to me and it is always affordable, often free.

3. Moon: Stay the course through the ups and downs. (Transiting Moon is in Capricorn, separating from Pluto)

I will guard against the tendency to be pessimistic. I must be careful of mental fatigue and of cracking under the pressure of bad news. I will stay the course through ups and downs. If I happen to be walking through a personal or collective stretch of darkness, I will be careful to invoke the light. I will keep my footing like a mountain goat and use any trial as a signal that the light is near.

I will not give in to fear and ignorance. Wherever I am ignorant or afraid, I will step in for a closer look. I will recognize that though I might seem to be staring at hard times, if I truly open my eyes and let there be light, I will see angels in service and in waiting. I will see my opportunity shining splendid in the midst of the difficulty.

I am excited by the opportunity afforded by this economy. I will not look on the downside of economic forecasts. These choke my power, creativity and resolve. I will continue to choose and not surrender my choices. I will not quit seeking. I see never-ending possibilities. The thirst and dryness that I may experience, simply spurs me on to search for refreshment.

4. Venus: Image it working out (Venus is in Gemini)

I imagine only what I want to see. I imagine myself winning the prize. I see myself victorious. I see myself beloved because I am a lover. I create words of love that encourage and assist me so that I can encourage and assist others from a genuine place. My hands are the hands of Love. I think encouraging thoughts and speak encouraging words. It’s never the end. There is always potential and possibility. Victory is an emotion that is brought about when you persevere. I follow the light. I picture what I want. No other pictures are allowed inside my mind. Nature is on my side. Love is on my side.

Albert Einstein also said that you can’t solve a problem in the same mindset that you were in when you created it. The current economy is an opportunity to shift whatever mindset you were in that has led to whatever outcomes you experience or perceive.

Whether you need a little money or a lot, attaching an emotional value to the money you need is a mistake. If you think you could easily find $10 if you needed it, attach that same mental/emotional ease to the need for $100, $1,000, or $10,000. Stressing on an amount of money you “feel” is impossible to obtain puts your system in shock and you frighten yourself into shutting down. It takes the same amount of energy to generate a $10 idea as it is to generate a $10,000 idea.
