Lard’s Greasy

Full Moon
November 1, 2009
10 Taurus 48’

“You don’t believe lard’s greasy and sugar’s sweet.”

This saying of my mother’s comes to me just as Saturn enters Libra. Saturn in Libra square Pluto in Capricorn* is an alignment of the planets taking place in the heavens that we experience together, but in our own way. We have to understand that lard is greasy and sugar’s sweet.  Ignore the obvious at your own peril. If you touch lard and taste sugar you know their properties. There is no denying them. My mother also used to say, “Call a spade, a spade.” It is another way of saying the same thing. Things have their properties. If you don’t correctly label and live in acknowledgment of things, you will be in trouble and cause yourself needless sorrow.

Saturn square Pluto also counsels that you can end any sorrow right now with a little determined rectification. In other words, you have to make up your mind. You have to make a decision. You have to make a choice. And often the choice has to do with following your own intuition, or not.

“Go within or you will go without.” says Neale Donald Walsch. Intuition is within. Intuition is you. Do you trust yourself? Do you listen to yourself? Do you respect and honor yourself? Are you your own ally or would you sell yourself short or down the river?

Are you able to be yourself, or are you the victim of mind control simply because you refuse to listen to and obey yourself?

You must be able to observe the properties of things and label them correctly in order to keep your mind balanced and keep your relationships just and true. This is the Adam principle of naming. This naming/knowing starts with the intellect’s access to the limitless. For example, all the power to solve the economy, both personally and collectively, is here now. If you are in your Adam and playing your “A” game, you begin with the limitless premise.

Your “A” game, the ability to think in terms of limitless potential, is the planet Uranus. It works through the door  of your creative imagination. How will you send limitless potential into your world? How do you imagine it? One person imagines that she can succeed. The other person imagines she can’t. One person believes she has access to Omniscient Mind, the other believes she is “stupid,” dense, thick, impenetrable, and unable to make use of the omniscient. She believes in limitation. She believes in the box and she keeps her mind there, which keeps her body and her being there, and keeps the scenery unchanging.

Have you heard that the elephant trained to the stake with a chain, can as a result be restrained with a rope that in reality he can easily break? You cannot discern properties by intellect alone, by what you can define and arrange in your mind. Art must enter the picture. Art is the “M” of our Adam, the Cosmic All as water, as the great sea, Neptune, from which land emerges. Art is nuance and subtlety. Art is the secret language. It is art that tells you he’s lying in a way that you know is the truth. It is art that makes you read a line and nod your head because your heart knows it is true and familiar. Ultimately, truth does not come at the expense of the so-called opposition. No one dies so that you can live. Only lies die. May they rest in peace.

When we correctly name things we assure our completion in the beginning. We begin to experience the guidance and direction of the lone one, the one that we are.

Nina Simone sings, “I see my light come shining, from the west unto the east, any day now, any day now, I shall be released.” Saturn square Pluto says scale the wall. Get over it. Overcome. Leave the past behind. Drop the weight. Go for it. Get through it. Face your fears and forget them except they remind you that you have conquered them. Make beauty out of ugly. Make victory out of defeat. Make triumph over adversity. Make love out of war.

Change (Pluto) your reality (Saturn). Understand that you can change your reality, especially the “reality” that anyone or anything threatens your glory or blocks your gifts.  Respect the humanity of those who oppose you, who seem to stand in your way, and won’t cooperate, change or listen; and you will be able to build bridges and scale mountains.

Lordy! I’m so loving your writing…just finished part two of Saturn in Libra for Planet Watch, but oh,me oh my, I like yours so much better :o) Although I must say that we do compliment each other…mine took a turn for health, but yours in so on, on, on, and I believe folks can benefit from both. Now, I’m thinking I’d be derelict in my service to people if I didn’t share your message with them…it’s a must! OK, coming down out of the clouds now…can I copy and paste this one into Planet Watch??? Love You, Ayesha

  2. Inez Singletary Says:

Thank you Ayesha! I am also enjoying the similarity of our offerings. Goes to show you that astrology is on the money! I love that you say, “If you are a Libra, or have planets in Libra, you are probably feeling the urge to get moving again and pull off the back burner personal projects you’ve been dreaming about for years. This is exactly what I have been feeling. It’s good to hear it from someone else. By all means copy and past my offering to Planet Watch. I am honored!
