Before I read Inez’s Lunations regarding this blue moon, I spent New Year’s Eve alone to reflect on 2010. I am going to nurture the relationship with myself this year since I’m basically tired of making everyone else happy while my feelings are glozed over in lieu of propriety. It’s time for me now. I have to be the amen church on this one as well. Today I got the courage to “free myself” from a relationship that was the dream I was accepting not the one in my bones. All day I wrestled with my decision then I read this and it was the confirmation I need. Asante.

Inez, you must have been looking into my life for the past few months. i’ve been wrestling with a relationship that needs to end but somehow i haven’t had the strength (or courage??) to do what i know is right. to stay will rob me of my personal integrity. i will move on. thanks!
