Aquarius is beyond the limits of social conditioning which says, this far and no further. Aquarius is universal, that which is true yesterday, today and tomorrow. Aquarius leads us to be open and to dare. Aquarius leads us to question our assumptions and prejudices. Aquarius is our opportunity to go beyond limits which constrict us and induce fear and anger and cause us to turn upon ourselves and others.
Aquarius is the sign of awakening. Interesting that awakening is mocked as “woke.”
Personally, I feel a little like a Jew under Hitler. Perhaps I feel like a German under Hitler too, because some Germans knew that they were living with a cruel despot whose crimes were against humanity, not just the Jews. I feel that “Everyone’s death diminishes me, for I am involved in mankind.” I feel a charge to take care of myself when much of the news seems tailored to frighten, threaten, and weaken. I mean to not become afraid or live an anger-dominated life.
I have this thing I do--writing the New and Full Moon counsel, which I hope is how I might help. I write messages of hope and encouragement, strength and inspiration.
I want my fellow humans to thrive, to seize the day, to love and persevere; to overcome.
I am a Pisces. For Pisces, Aquarius is the sign that is behind the scenes, potentially unconscious, and possibly my undoing. But I have Mercury in Aquarius as does this Full Moon Chart. I feel like a knower. I don’t know everything, but I know what I know, and I have always followed the beat of a different drummer. I think marching to the beat of a different drummer is following your own guidance system and this is crucial for all. Harriet Tubman marched to the drummer who said she was free, not a slave. She took her first journey North, feeling for the side of the tree the moss was growing on, following the North Star, and talking to God, her inner voice. She said, “I talk to God, and God talks to me.” She took her first journey alone. Then she went back and forth 39 times to bring others to freedom.
The Full Moon is in Leo. The Moon in Leo is a personal reflection of Aquarian purposes. The Moon in Leo says, “I will be driven to have the courage of my convictions. I will not allow myself to be stifled. I will reflect new knowledge as a form of creative self-expression. I will be a light. I will be a lover. I will be generous. I will have laughter. I will survive.
Practicum
Be light. Don’t hide your light under a bushel. Step out. Express your art, your heart, your daring caring.
