Live Now. Close the Gap.

Eye of Horus, an Egyptian Symbol.

Full Moon Winter Solstice | December 22, 2018 | 0 Cancer 49’

The Voice came to me saying, when you fear an outside entity, you are not confident in me. “You cannot serve two masters, God and mammon.”

This made me go, hmmmm. When I am afraid of something, I am serving it by giving it credence and power. I am saying that thing can rule or wreck my life. I may think that it is a little thing, a momentary anxiety, but it is quite a big thing, really. I am making noise unto God and feeding this dark thing that God might not, for whatever reason, handle for me. A little bit split, is “hopelessly” split.

“For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. The light of the body is the eye: If therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil (ignorant), thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness. No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”

The single eye is the Third eye, the Psychic Eye, the Eye of Providence, all-seeing, all- knowing, all-prevailing.

Do I think I am too mortal and flawed for the All-Seeing Eye to see through me? It already does. I just tolerate living in less than 100% allowance of it. Do I have to wait for tomorrow, when I’m better, when I got it, when I’ve earned it, to see better? Live in the light now. Close the gap.

The Sun in Capricorn is the light shining in the darkness. In Tarot, Capricorn is represented as The Devil, whose basic job is to say this far and no further. You, little piddly, do not have and shall never have dominion. You see this upside-down star? You see my threatening, red-eyed stare? Do I intimidate you? Do I hamper you, hinder you, limit you? Then hee, hee, hee, good for me. Guess who created the monster of the blocked-off life?

The Sun in Capricorn at the Winter Solstice bids us to stand still and know. Take a moment. Put it on pause. The Voice speaks in the silence. The darkest night will be less dark tomorrow until it reaches the Summer Solstice and the Sun in Cancer.

The Moon is full in Cancer. The mirror in the sky reflects the whole circle of my experience. The body is my physical body and my body of life circumstances. Now I can look at the Sun’s reflection in the safe light of that luminous mirror.

For our purposes, at this Full Moon we are going to think of Cancer as the 6th sense, a feeling of knowing within. The sixth sense is defined as “ability to perceive matters beyond the range of ordinary perception.” What we call our feelings does this. It informs us and it teaches us, but we have to always be still for a bit in order to get our bearings and to get attuned to the guiding frequency.

Practicum

Observe how you feel. Name or identify the feeling without judging it.

If you feel good, you are on the receiving road. You receive good because you are not blocking it by being worried about receiving bad.

If you don’t feel good, don’t judge yourself. Do acknowledge that you would like to feel better and you will.

This reminds me of a time years ago when I saw a bug on my bed. One tiny bug. I freaked out, tampered with as I was by all the bed bug commercials of the time. When I realized that my emotions were outta control, I realized I was doing the there-is-no-god kinda thinking. My mind was blighted as if a swarm of every insect imaginable was flying over me and knocking me down. Gave me a good laugh and the army of inspectors I called in could find nothing. That was five years ago. Still nothing.
